Here are the best outdoor activities and things to do and see in Berlin including Tiergarten, Zoo Berlin, Mauerpark, Volkspark Friedrichshain, Tempelhofer Feld, Treptower Park, Viktoriapark, Görlitzer Park
Köllnischer Park is a public park located near the River Spree in Mitte, Berlin. It is named after Cölln, one of the two cities which came together to form Berlin; the park location was originally just outside it. Approximately 1 hectare (2.5 acres) in area, the park came into existence in the 18th and 19th centuries on the site of fortifications. It was redesigned as a public park in 1869–73 and was further modified in the 20th century with the ...
What an amazing space to chill after a long day on the train. Just a short walk from the Hauptbanoff, you can bring a lunch and soak in all the history and enjoy the crowds of people visiting one of Berlin’s most famous landmarks. It’s a great space.
Berlin is a beautiful city to be and see! Great museums, nightlife and so much history around the city.
A bit off the standard Berlin tourist track but definitely worth the journey out from Mitte at any time of year. Great playground and a beautiful park setting. Enormous amount of space and variety of animals. We couldn't say we'd seen the whole place until about our 10th visit. We get annual passes for the whole family every year.
I was a kid again for a hour. It's so fun when you're with a group of friends. One hour is enough because you're getting really tired. Its really nice that you can keep the socks. Would definitely go back here again.
Excellent place. Everything is well organized.
They make you buy their expensive socks but at least you only have to buy them once.
One of the most favorite playgrounds of my daughter. There are two playgrounds next to each other in the area. One is spacious, the other one is more complex with a big 3 story wooden castle. There also is a yard to chill out and picnic.
Check out the local markets when they run... we happened across a great organic/bio/eco christmas market which was so refreshing compared with the other massive commercial attempts
I was here with my child. It's kind of nice as there are many trees and nice tiny streets inside of park. But it's little bit scary to walk alone as woman as streets inside of park are tiny and hidden by trees, nobody gonna see you if something happens...
The Best place, My Mama & Papa home
Really quite area, with big open spaces. The lake is really nice and in case of super high temperature there you gonna find shade and fresh air
Its a bit pricey I thought for adults and toddlers. They charge a lot for the food and it wasn’t tasty at all. Too salty. Needs more lighting. Overall it was okay the kids were impressed. They had fun.
Kids love the place. Visit when not very crowded.
Supper shop for baby car chairs, bedrooms, toys and complements.
The wait was quite long and it's a bit pricey. Some of the fish looked less than healthy or like they were in too small tanks. Besides that, there was a decent variety of fish and many tanks had themes which was cool. The AquaDom elevator was cool and exciting but that is only a small part of the aquarium that you see at the end. Gift shop is quite pricey of course and there were very few aquarium or fish themed postcards here.
The ground was good to set up the tent anywhere. Some good nature around even when it's close to the city. The bathrooms were nice and clean and staff is friendly. The only downside is it's next to an airport so it gets loud after about 6am.
Friendly and welcoming staff, casual atmosphere and very accommodating place. Also pet-friendly! The cabins are cosy in winter. Located near shopping and restaurants, in an area that allows visitors to really get to know Berlin’s local culture. As an experienced traveler, I highly recommend this place especially because of the nice people who work here, the great service and comfortable lodging.
This has been my first escape game experience. And it has been great. We played the game Kowloon – Walled City FSK18* in versus mode. We were out in less than 1 hour but it was challenging and, really, a lot of fun. The staff is kind, well prepared, and speaks very good English, so you can go even if you don't speak German.
They're a bit pricier than other room escape games in the city but have quite a number of rooms and have been in business for a while. You notice how well-worn and difficult to use all the padlocks and keyholes are. The rooms themselves require quite a bit of imagination to solve.
We tried the exit VR game 3 * 3. Super fun. Really amazing experience.
